Percussion Mini-Concert 2022 (11 Dec)

Featuring around 60 percussion members, the second Percussion Mini-Concert 2022 was held successfully on 11 December in the Recital Hall of HKCC's West Kowloon Centre. Despite facing numerous obstacles during the pandemic, our young members continued to practice for the concert and gave their best for the performance.
The concert started with the drum piece Summon the Spirits, played by members from junior classes. Members from other classes then performed nine pieces, including Beethoven's Turkish March and Scott Joplin's Maple Leaf Rag. The ensemble performance required not only percussion techniques, but also teamwork as members had to collaborate with each other while performing. At the end of the concert, our members played Avalanche Lake, winning big applause from the parents.
