
Michelle LOI
Dance SupervisorDance Training and Professional Background
Loi started dancing at the age of seven, studying ballet under Choi Kwok-por and Chinese dance with Fang Yunqing and Zhu Jie. She graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 1988 as its first “First Class Honours Graduate,” majoring in Chinese Dance with minors in Modern Dance and Ballet. She later trained in Japan and is a certified instructor for the Beijing Dance Academy’s graded examinations (Levels 1–13).
Dance Education
With over 40 years of teaching experience, Loi has taught at the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and City University of Hong Kong. She has led the HKCC Dance Group for more than four decades, serving as Dance Supervisor since 2006. In 2020, she received the “30 Years of Contribution to Dance Education in Hong Kong” award.
Dance Creation and Choreography
Loi’s choreography includes The Mermaid, Nezha Conquers the Sea, Goddess·Constellations·Zodiac, and Along the River During the Qingming Festival. She has also choreographed musicals such as Madame White Snake, King of Singers, and Oriental Symphony. Her award-winning works include Flow‧Stillness, Calligraphy, and A Thousand Reds.
Advisory and Adjudication Work
Loi has judged the Hong Kong Schools Dance Festival since 2015, serving as Chief Judge from 2020, and in 2023 she joined the China Artists Association (Hong Kong) as an adjudicator. She also promotes the Education Bureau’s “Campus Health Dance” initiative, encouraging students to embrace dance in schools.

Agnes CHAN
Assistant Dance Supervisor (Ballet)Chan graduated from HKAPA with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hons) Degree in Dance majoring in Ballet Education. She achieved the Ballet Teaching Certificate from the Royal Academy of Dance with honours and is now a RAD-registered ballet teacher. Chan participated in various performances and joined tours to South Africa and Guangzhou. She was awarded scholarships, including the Jackie Chan Scholarship and Ballet Lecturer Scholarship. She joined the Education and Outreach Department of the Hong Kong Ballet and has taught at the HKAPA junior program. She joined HKCC in 1999.

Chloe LEE
Dance CoordinatorLee graduated from HKAPA with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) degree, majoring in Chinese Dance. She has extensive experience in dance teaching, choreography, and coordination, working with children and youth in various primary and secondary schools, as well as children's choir dance groups, with a strong understanding of group collaboration and arts education processes. In 2022, she participated in the Choreography Inheritance Scheme, organized by the Hong Kong Dance Federation, and choreographed the work Snow Solitude. Lee also actively participated in major local performances and on concert stages, performed with prominent artists and possesses comprehensive stage and coordination skills.
