  • Minnie CHAU

    Chau graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 1999, majoring in Western Percussion, under the tutelage of Dr Lung Heung Wing and Dr Alan Cumberland. After graduation, she visited Ghana twice to learn Ghanaian traditional African drum and dance culture with Dr Paschal Yao Young and Dr Zelma Badu Young. In 2014, she followed the Harmony Road music founder Jan Keyser to learn the music teaching method for toddlers and  young children. Chau currently is teaching in many primary and secondary schools as well as kindergartens. Chau's teaching style focuses on an enjoyable learning experience. Teaching in a simple and easy-to-understand manner through small games. In addition to technical skills, she pays more attention to students' comprehensive cognition and cultivates their musician's attitude.

  • WU On-Wai

    Wu graduated from the Music Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Arts (Music) degree, majoring in Western percussion, under the tutelage of Chau Chin-tung, the principal percussion of Hong Kong Sinfonietta. Wu holds a Diploma (ATCL) in piano and percussion from Trinity College London, as well as a Diploma in Education. In addition to Western percussion, Wu is also passionate about playing jazz drums and has studied fusion jazz drumming techniques with Crotus Chan and Samuel Chan. He participated in various concerts and jazz performances, including the James Ng Short-period Solo Concert and the Hong Kong Youth Jazz Collective Annual Concert.

  • Abby CHAN

    Graduated from Royal Northern College of Music with Master of Performance (Distinction), Chan is a percussionist under the tutelage of James Boznos and Aziz D. Marnard Luce. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from CUHK, under the tutorship of Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra percussionist Sophia Woo. As an active percussionist, Chan has collaborated with various orchestras, concert bands and ensembles. She was a freelance percussion player of Hallé Orchestra in the United Kingdom and was invited to perform in the UK tour. As a core member of RNCM Percussion Ensemble, she collaborated with renowned soloist Le Yu in China Tour 2019, giving eight sold-out concerts in major China concert halls.

  • Mylthie WONG

    Wong graduated from the music departments of HKU and HKBU with a Bachelor's (Hons) Degree and a Master's Degree in Music, majoring in choral conducting, piano performance and pedagogy. She holds a Diploma in piano performance, a Diploma in teaching and a Grade 8 in vocal singing from ABRSM. Wong is enthusiastic about children music education. She received training in Kodaly method as well as in Orff method. She is currently a member of the choir of Opera Hong Kong, the Opera Society of Hong Kong and Gloves Handbell. She participated in various music activities including opera performances and international handbell conferences. She has also appeared as a guest performer in various shows.

  • Cherry CHENG

    Cheng graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) with a Bachelor of Arts in Music, majoring in percussion and was under the tutelage of Louis Siu, former Principal Percussion of the Macao Orchestra. During her studies at CUHK, Cheng specialised in music pedagogy and was commended on the Dean's List. Cheng also participated in percussion festivals in Japan and Australia to pursue advanced studies in percussion. As a freelance percussionist, Cheng has played with various orchestras, such as the Macao Orchestra, Pan Asia Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong String Orchestra, Gustav Mahler Orchestra, and Hong Kong Wind Philharmonia. Being enthusiastic about music education, Cheng is devoted to teaching percussion in primary and secondary schools and has performed with Toolbox Percussion on their local educational tour.

  • Kenny KWAN

    Kwan has been learning percussion under the guidance of Elton Lee, Luk Kin-bun, Dr Matthew Lau and Ricky Kwong. He received Champion awards of Ensemble with the Percussion Band in the Hong Kong School Music Festival. Kwan has been invited by Viva Music and Gip Percussion to perform in different concerts, commercials or charity shows in Hong Kong. He has been teaching percussion and A cappella since 2009 at different schools, including Pui Ching Primary School, Alliance Primary School - Whampoa, St. Francis of Assisi's English Primary School, Tak Sun School, etc. He is also working in the childhood music education centre "Orff4kids" and being a Drums Tutor in kindergartens.
