  • Alexander WONG

    Wong holds a Master of Music degree in Piano Accompanying and Chamber Music from Eastman School of Music and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music (First Class Honour) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His major mentors include Jeffie Leung, Dr Mary Wu, Wong Kin-yu and Dr Jean Barr. Currently, Wong is an accompanist of St. Paul's Co-educational College Primary School Senior Choir, Young Vocalists, Die Konzertisten, Hong Kong Bach Choir, Musica Viva and part-time Teaching Assistant in the School of Humanities (Music) of the University of Hong Kong.

  • Patience FUNG

    Fung graduated from the University of Hong Kong and obtained her Master Degree in Arts and Cultural Management at the University of South Australia. She passed all graded piano examinations with distinction and has obtained the Licentiate Performer Pianoforte (LTCL). An alumna of HKCC, Fung has joined many HKCC overseas tours as choir member or tour manager. She was head of administration of HKCC and Opera Hong Kong. Fung is the Founder of Opera Hong Kong Children Chorus and Founding Chairperson of the HKCC Alumni Chapter. Other than being conductor or pianist for numerous local choirs, she is now devoting herself to arts events management as well as music performance and teaching.

  • Kenix TSANG

    Born and raised in Hong Kong, Tsang graduated from the Music Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and received her Master's degree at the Codarts Rotterdam Conservatory, the Netherlands. She has received lessons from Chan Siu-kwan, Frans Huijts, Roberta Alexander and Dongjian Gong. She is currently a part-time tutor in the School of Humanities (Music) of the University of Hong Kong and vocal coach of HK SingFest. Her recent solo appearances include Durufle's Requiem; Poulenc's Gloria and John Rutter's Gloria; John Rutter's Mass for the children under the composer's baton. With a German lieder programme, she got the 2nd prize in the 17th Osaka International Music Competition (Vocal Recital Course).

  • Vivian IP

    HKCC's alumna and a native of Hong Kong, Ip is an active choral and orchestral conductor. In the seasons 2016/17 and 2017/18, Ip was appointed by Jaap van Zweden as assistant conductor for the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. Currently the associate conductor of Hong Kong Sinfonietta and music director of Xing-er Symphonic Orchestra, she has worked with Polish Baltic Philharmonic, Vienna Chamber Orchestra, etc. As a choral conductor, she has conducted the Berlin Radio Choir, DR Vokalensemblet, Hong Kong Oratorio Society, Indiana University Symphonic Choir, among others. She has taught conducting in the BA and MA Programme of the Music Department, Chinese University of Hong Kong since 2019 spring.

  • Jason LIU

    Liu has studied piano, cello and composition since a young age. He attained the Fellowship Diploma of Trinity College London (FTCL) for piano and the Licentiate Diploma (LTCL) for cello. He is currently Assistant Conductor of The Learners and is studying conducting under the tutelage of Apollo Wong. Liu attained his Master of Music at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majored in Collaborative Piano under the tutelage of Hsu Wei-En. He also attained his Master of Architecture degree at the University of Hong Kong. He was the recipient of multiple prizes and scholarships during his study. His compositions were performed and awarded locally and abroad. He received multiple commissions for musicals and choral works from schools. He is an alumnus of HKCC and participated in tours as a singer and accompanist, most recently in the 2023 Tour to Thailand as the pianist.

  • Kelvin LAU

    Lau is an alumnus of HKCC. He graduated from Berklee College of Music, Summa Cum Laude, in Boston, the USA, where he was awarded the Berklee Achievement Scholarship to complete his music degree. In 2011, Lau founded the Hong Kong Virtuoso Chorus and has since been serving as its conductor. For the past 3 years, Lau has served as Artistic Director of Hong Kong Inter-School Choral Festival. Lau is also active in the international music scene, performing and participating in conferences and festivals in Singapore, Japan, Malaysia and China. In summer 2019, he led Diocesan Girls' Junior School Choir to perform in the Asia Pacific Choral Summit 2019 Opening Concert. He was invited to take part in the summer camp of the Toronto Children's Chorus as a visiting conductor in the same year.

  • Alex TAM

    Born in Hong Kong, opera singer, conductor and composer, Tam graduated from the Royal Academy of Music (RAM) Opera Course. He is currently Chorus Director of Opera Hong Kong, voice teacher and choir conductor of the HKAPA, conductor of PolyU Choir, and president of the Aria Academy of Music. Tam received the ARAM award from the Royal Academy of Music for his significant contribution to the music profession. In 2018, he received the Outstanding Musician Awards from the Hong Kong Music and Dance Association. Tam is also a radio presenter on RTHK Radio 4.
